The fili vase with handles is a handwoven rattan cylindrical vase with handles wrapped with split rattan. Use it to hold dried flowers and to dress recycled vases for fresh flowers.
Fili is a brand born in the Philippines of delicately handmade functional home items and decorative objects from the archipelago. Through Fili, designer Julia Villamonte translates a personal weaving practice into a growing permanent collection of forms, updated seasonally, through materials co-developed with local workshops. The Vase with Handles is part of Weaving Lessons (2021), a collection inspired by a research trip to Labo, Camarines Norte.
