fiddle leaf fig | ficus lyrata | large
The Fiddle Leaf Fig is a favourite house plant of ours. There is little more we find satisfying than seeing it sprout a giant new floppy green leaf - especially when their fussy nature is taken into account! Notorious for being a little tricky, once in the correct environment and with the right care, the Fiddle Leaf Fig, or Ficus Lyrata, will reward you with branches of fiddle shaped leaves and promises of, eventually (years from now), hitting the ceiling.
Position: Bright, indirect light.
Water: Allow the surface soil to dry out. A good test is to sink your finger into the soil and when the top inch is dry give it a little water. A small amount once a week in the summer should do it, and less often in the winter - don't overwater.
Dimensions: 90cm high (including 25cm pot) x 55cm wide approx.
Plants are currently available for pick up only. We hope to ship them in the future, please contact us if you cannot make it to the store to collect.
