Kenzan, or "flower frogs" as they are often called, is a tool used in the Japanese floral art of Ikebana. Each kenzan is hand made in Japan and constructed of a heavy rustproof metal base crowned with many sharp brass pins. Use the pins to support woody or soft green stems as you create your floral display. When finished place your kenzan in a water-filled shallow bowl or dish to keep your arrangement happy.
