This is a large growing leek with a zingy flavour that complements many dishes. I love this leek for its deep green points on the stalk and its ability to grow well. It's really handy having leek in the garden as they can be utilised when small, like a spring onion, or last for quite a while as they grow big, so you can just harvest as you need. Plant year round and give them 5-6 months to grow.
Little Sun Seeds is based on Waiheke Island, and boasts a collection of organic seeds for the home gardener. Seed is sourced from across the North and South Island and packaged into envelopes with handwritten growing instructions.
